Social Dinner

The social dinner will take place at the restaurant La Rampolina on Tuesday evening.

Excursion

For the excursion we plan a boat tour on Lago Maggiore! It will take place on Tuesday afternoon, before the conference dinner. Here is a nice picture of the boat and the island we are going to visit (Isola Madre, one of the Borromean Islands). Here is the program:

  • 13.45: departure from Varese (meeting point: main entrance of the park of Villa Toeplitz - Bus Morandi Tour)

  • 14.30: arrival in Laveno and boarding on a reserved boat

  • 14.50 arrival at the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso

  • 14.50-15.40: guided tour of the Hermitage

  • 15.40: departure from the Heritage

  • 16.00: arrival at Isola Madre

  • 16.00-17.30: guided tour of Isola Madre

  • 17.30: departure from Isola Madre

  • 18.00: arrival in Stresa

  • 18.00-19.00: free tour of Stresa

  • 19.00: departure from Stresa - Bus Morandi Tour (meeting point: pier)

  • 19.30: social dinner at the restaurant "La Rampolina"

  • 22.30: departure from "La Rampolina"

  • 13.30: arrival in Varese (two stops: downtown and Villa Toeplitz)
